A precedent study for the structure of the FABLAB comprehensive studio project.
The house is oriented north-south: the double storey living area looks south toward the ocean. The living spaces are raised above the ground; a garage and a play area are beneath them. A double entrance is covered by the upper storey where the bedrooms are located (originally unenclosed "sleeping porches"). Circulation between the floors is cantilevered to the north and culminates in a roof terrace for sunbathing.

The structure consists of five concrete frames with joists supported on metal railings and attached to the concrete beams. The interior cantilevered floor is suspended by rods attached to the concrete beams.
